Menu Plan Monday - 4/14/14

Hello and happy Monday to you all!  In North-Central Arkansas, it has decided to turn back into Winter.  Tonight the temperature will dip below freezing and will be almost freezing tomorrow night.  Seriously?  Well, at least it's not snowing like in other parts of the country.  So, I have a few cold weather dishes on the menu for this week.  Which, is fine, because I love soups, stews and chili.

My son watched a cake tutorial with me this past weekend and now he wants a rainbow cake, so I may attempt that on Saturday.  Here's the tutorial:

Doesn't that look like fun!  I ordered all natural food coloring to use.

  3. Tanya, I made the rainbow cake for Easter and used pastel colors. Not as fancy with the icing though. Jax loved it!

    Erica, they were SO good. I froze a few, so hoping they heat back up well.
